We’ve made it. The final home game of the regular season is here and what a journey it has been both on and off the pitch. Well done to everyone involved from behind the scenes staff all the way through to the management and the players.
At the beginning of this month it was confirmed that Chorley Football Club has new owners in the pipeline with the transfer of shares from Graham and Ken to a new party. It goes without saying what a remarkable job both Graham and Ken have done at the Club throughout some very challenging times.
If you haven’t already done so then we advise you read the latest updates that we’ve posted on our website along with a very valuable question and answers session that Graham very kindly took part in during our April meeting.
Hopefully this will not be the last article that I write this season as we still push towards the play-off places. However if it turns out to not be our turn to participate then I will use this article not only to say thank you but to give you a small insight into what the Trust plan to achieve over the summer.
A few quick dates for your diary starting with our next monthly meeting which takes place on Thursday 4th May. The following month is our AGM and keeping with tradition it switches to a Wednesday and will be on 21st June. Both events start at 8pm in the social club with doors opening from 7pm.
Over the summer we will continue to work on our website making sure it is complete with the important information that you should know. As part of our website we will have a fully functioning online shop selling pieces of Trust merchandise along with the opportunity for you to subscribe as a member, which will offer you discounts across Trust events next season amongst other small perks.
As ever any changes and updates that we make will be available to see online so if you aren’t already following us on Facebook or Twitter then please do.
Thank you for your support towards Magpies Trust this season and we already look forward to working with the Football Club, supporters and the community for the 2023/24 campaign.
Next season we will be back stronger.
