MATCH PREVIEW | Hereford

Fresh off the back of a fantastic result on Tuesday night, Chorley return to Victory Park today for another tough fixture with Hereford the visitors. The Bulls will consider their current eighteenth place to be a reflection on their poor start to the opening month of the season. With Paul Caddis taking over the helm at Edgar Street in the summer and bringing in a wealth of new players, an argument could have been made that the team needed time to bed in.

Results have picked up since mid-September and passage to the next round of the FA Cup was secured by defeating National League’s Rochdale to set up an away tie with Gillingham next weekend. The Bulls followed this result up with a creditable victory over Curzon Ashton 3-1, but defeat on Tuesday night by the same scoreline away at Alfreton Town may have stopped the Bulls in their tracks somewhat. They will be looking to make amends this afternoon.

Paul Downing – 32 years old, centre back. An ex-Hereford loanee, Downing joined after leaving Portsmouth.

Connor Stanley – 21 years old, midfielder. Joined after leaving Bolton Wanderers. Has represented Bamber Bridge this year.

Adam Rooney – 35 years old, striker. Previously represented Brackley Town.

Koby Arthur – 27 years old, midfielder. Previously with Maidenhead United.

Kyle Howkins – 27 years old, defender. Previously represented Newport County.

Jordan Cranston – 29 years old, left back. Was in the AFC Fylde title winning team least season.

Andy Williams – 37 years old, centre forward. Previous fan-favourite at Edgar Street. Unfortunately suffered a serious injury in pre-season.

Jason Cowley – 28 years old, centre forward. Previously represented Stourbridge.

Adam Livingstone – 25 years old, left back. Previously with AFC Telford United.

Curtis Pond – 28 years old, goalkeeper. Previously with Chasetown.

Alex Babos – 25 years old, midfielder. Previously with Banbury United.

Aaron Skinner – 21 years old, defender. Previously with Bamber Bridge.

Aurio Teixeira – 21 years old, midfielder. Previously with Alvechurch.

Ollie Southern – 21 years old, defender. Previously with Bala Town.
